Welcome to our community website.

As I begin my third year serving as Chief of Police, I am proud of what we have accomplished and even more excited about where we are headed. Over the past two years, our department has continued to grow, improve, and adapt to the changing needs of our community while remaining focused on our fundamental mission: providing professional, responsive, and compassionate law enforcement services to everyone who lives, works, and visits our city.

One of the most rewarding aspects of this past year has been seeing our department continue to invest in its future. Through successful grant efforts, we have been able to make important improvements to our evidence room and enhance the resources available to our officers. We also established a K-9 team, adding another valuable tool to our department's ability to address crime, assist with investigations, and enhance public safety. We have also welcomed some outstanding new officers who are energetic, determined, and eager to serve this community. They bring enthusiasm and fresh perspectives while embracing the responsibility that comes with being a police officer.

I have been particularly proud of the professionalism demonstrated by the men and women of this department. They have taken all the recent challenges in stride, continued to support one another, and remained focused on the job and the community they serve. Their ability to adapt while maintaining the high standards expected of them is a testament to the character and dedication of our department.

While I am proud of the progress we have made, I recognize that there is always more work to do. We will continue looking for opportunities to improve our facilities, equipment, training, technology, and overall service to the community. Our goal is not simply to respond to today's challenges, but to prepare our department for the challenges of tomorrow.

Strong communities are built on strong partnerships. The relationship between the Police Department and the people we serve is at the heart of everything we do. We value your trust, your support, and your willingness to work with us to make our community safer and stronger. I encourage residents to remain engaged, share their concerns and ideas, and continue working alongside us.

Thank you for the continued support you have shown our officers and our department. It is an honor to serve this community, and I look forward to continuing the work we have started together.
