Nomination papers will be available for the following expiring terms:

City Council: Three (3) seats — Three-year terms
School Board: Two (2) seats — Three-year terms

Available: Monday, August 31, 2026
Location: Old Town City Clerk’s Office
265 Main Street, Old Town, Maine.

Return Deadline: Monday, September 14, 2026, by 5:00 PM

-          Candidates must obtain 25 signatures from registered Old Town voters to qualify for placement on the ballot.

Absentee Ballots

Absentee ballots for the State General and Municipal Election are expected to be available in early October 2026.
