Firearms Safety Class

With changes to Maine law allowing concealed carry without a required safety course, the Old Town Police Department is offering a Firearms Safety Class for community members who want to learn and practice safe, responsible firearm handling.

This class will be taught by a certified firearms instructor and will focus on fundamental safety principles, proper handling, and responsible ownership.

If you are interested in attending, please sign up to be notified when the class is scheduled. We look forward to providing this important safety training to our community.

Requirements:

• You cannot have any prior felonies or other disqualifying convictions
• You must have an enrollment form on file with us
• First preference will be given to those who live or work in the City of Old Town.
